Nexans - a local cable supplier with global 5G solutions.
The next generation mobile network 5G is just around the corner. The new technology is expected to break new ground in the ongoing digitalisation with very fast speeds and low response times, and expectations in many areas are high. Not least when it comes to requirements for a reliable network without the risk of disruptions and interruptions. There, the underlying infrastructure will play a central and important role.
Continuous development and innovation
5G is by extension a collection of solutions in data centers, energy, fiber, copper and IP. Very few companies have the expertise to handle all of these aspects. With a local presence in the market and the strength of an international group behind it, Nexans has already developed products that fit the systems on which these new applications are based.
“As one of Sweden's largest cable manufacturers, we have a local breadth like few others in the industry, but we always want to develop and get better, not least in terms of our work in 5G. Almost daily, we find new applications and innovations that we test both internally and in collaboration with our distributors and end customers. Then we modify and tailor the solutions based on experience and feedback, to finally be able to include them in our offer ” Oliver Orre Imgård, KAM Sales, Telecom Systems.
